A) Tooth extraction

A tooth extraction is a dental procedure during which your tooth is completely taken out from its socket. You may need to get your tooth removed if you have severe cavities, a fractured tooth, an impacted tooth, crowded teeth, severe gum disease, tooth luxation, or other dental injuries, including those caused by sports. First, local anesthesia is administered to numb the affected tooth and surrounding gum tissue. Using specialized dental instruments, one of our experienced dentists — Dr. Aditya and Dr. Nimisha — will gently loosen and carefully remove the tooth from its socket. In some cases, small incisions in the gums may be necessary, especially if the tooth is badly decayed or broken at the gum line. At Perfect Smile Dental Clinic®, we prioritize patient comfort and aim to keep minimum waiting time, ensuring a smooth and stress-free experience. While recovery time varies depending on the complexity of the case, most patients return to normal activities within 48 to 72 hours, though full healing of the jawbone may take a few weeks.

B) Wisdom tooth removal /Impacted tooth removal

The decision about whether or not to have a wisdom tooth removed mainly depends on whether it is already causing problems or is likely to do so in the future. Wisdom tooth removal is generally not painful during the procedure itself due to the use of anesthesia. However, some pain and discomfort are expected after the surgery as the anesthesia wears off. Most people recover fully within 3–4 days, although recovery may take longer for impacted or awkwardly angled teeth. Swelling and jaw stiffness can also occur in some patients. Complications such as dry socket, infection, bleeding, and numbness are possible. In addition to wisdom teeth, impacted canine teeth, supernumerary teeth, or extra teeth that cause esthetic or functional issues can also be surgically removed. At Perfect Smile Dental Clinic®, you are in the hands of some of the best dentists in Pune, ensuring safe, precise, and patient-focused care throughout your treatment.

C) Periodontal flap surgeries

When advanced gum disease develops, the ligaments and bone tissue that surround the teeth begin to deteriorate, and you could even start to lose teeth. If the disease can’t be managed through non-surgical treatments like cleaning and scaling, periodontal flap surgery may be the most effective option. Also known as gingival flap surgery, this procedure involves lifting the gums to expose the underlying bone and tooth roots, providing better access to thoroughly treat the affected areas. The goal is to remove plaque and tartar buildup, reshape the bone if necessary, and support the regeneration of healthy gum tissue and bone. At Perfect Smile Dental Clinic®, Dr. Nimisha performs this procedure with precision and care, ensuring optimal outcomes for patients dealing with advanced gum disease.
